Kristen Stewart Cheated, LoLo & Tebow Virgins, and Mick Jagger Man-wh*re: WHO CARES?!?!

25 Jul

Kristen Stewart pelts fans with an over share.

I first got the idea for this post when the story hit every news broadcast that Lolo Jones was still a virgin at 29 years old.  That story had been proceeded by the endless coverage that Tim Tebow is a virgin.  How is this news?  Who was just dying to know information this personal?

If Sarah in the next cubicle came over and told you that she was a virgin, what would you think?  What if Debbie at the receptionists desk told you she hadn’t had an orgasm with her husband in years?  Or would you be pleased if your neighbor told you that he found Cialis to be more effective than Viagra?  You’d be grossed out and skeeved out that someone thrust their most intimate information on you!  Scalding shower anyone?

Famous people complain when their privacy is invaded, but I want to complain when they fling their personal business at me like crap from a baboon.  I love TMZ and all the entertainment shows, but their sex lives or lack there of isn’t something I want to know about.  What don’t they get about intimate?

This also goes for the biographers too who seem to fill books with the most incendiary information.  I’m surprised the recent biography of Mick Jagger didn’t say he had a one night stand with Mother Theresa.  I mean he slept with everyone else.

Now today, media outlets are talking about Kristen Stewart cheating on Robert Pattinson.  The part that gets me is she doesn’t confirm he is her boyfriend in interviews, but chooses to over share and apologize for cheating on him to the world?  Huh?!?!  Someone should have stopped her from releasing any statement on the matter.  Kristen Stewart didn’t cheat on the public, so she should have continued to keep her private life private.

If asked in an interview, her only statement should have been, “I made a mistake and that’s all I have to say.”  Finite…the end, but I doubt there’ll be an end for the public.
